Future is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and music producer. His discography includes Pluto (2012), DS2 (2015), and HNDRXX (2017). He founded the record label ‘Freebandz’ in 2011. Future was born Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn on November 20, 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s also known as Navyvadius Cash. He attended Columbia High School in Decatur, Georgia.

CAREER
Future began his music career as a member of the musical collective, Dungeon Family. The group is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and specializes in Southern hip hop with some funk/soul influence. Future’s cousin ‘Rico Wade’ is also a member of The Dungeon Family. Wade is a record producer and member of the production company, Organized Noize. Future released a number of early mixtapes such as Dirty Sprite, True Story, and Streetz Calling. He worked alongside rapper Gucci Mane on the album Free Bricks (2011).

Future’s debut studio album, Pluto, was released in April 2012 by A1 Recordings and Epic Records. The album sold over 200,000 copies in the United States. It featured guest artists like T.I. and Snoop Dogg. His second album, Honest, was released in 2014. It was led by the singles “Karate Chop”, “Honest” and “Move That Dope”. Future followed up with the mixtapes Monster (2014), Beast Mode (2015), and 56 Nights (2015). His third album, DS2, was released in July 2015 at the #1 spot the Billboard 200. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA. The collaborative mixtape ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ with Drake was released two months later. Future’s other albums include EVOL (2016), FUTURE (2017), and HNDRXX (2017). His 2017 single “Mask Off” peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was certified Platinum in the U.S., Canada, and France.

Future is 6ft 2in tall and he’s of Haitian ancestry. He has an estimated net worth of $40 million. His 2018 earnings was $30 million according to the Forbes Hip-Hop Cash Kings list. Future was engaged to R&B singer ‘Ciara‘ from October 2013 to August 2014. They had a son named Future Zahir Wilburn. His other children include daughter Londyn and son Prince.
