Veterans in Houma and St. John Parish receive health care reminder

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - The Department of Veterans Affairs has issued reminders about community based outpatient clinics.

The clinics provide primary care, specialty care and mental health services for veterans in Southeast Louisiana. The Houma clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. and is located next to the Louisiana War Veterans home at 6433 West Park Avenue in Houma.

Another option is the Saint John Parish clinic. It's open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located next to the Louisiana War Veterans home at 4004 West Airline Highway in Reserve.
